You might also find http://www.pin1yin1.com useful as a translator. It’s really good for copying characters over from the interwebs, and then it translates it into pinyin and gives a character by character exegesis in English. Sounds like a pretty standard translator/dictionary, but give it a try with some (lengthy) forum topic on mop and you’ll see what I’m talking about– not great if you want to quickly understand (in English) what’s going on, but great if you’re trying to understand what was written in Chinese (if that makes sense).
